8 Tell-Tale Signs You're Either a Morning Lark or Night Owl

Some people are better at waking up early in the morning. Others will do anything to avoid waking up before 11am. Morning larks enjoy their days while night owls enjoy their nights, and both have incredibly different genetically-conditioned sleeping patterns. So which are you?

If You’re a Morning Lark…

1. You wake up every morning fairly easily and are super excited and ready to take on the day!

2. You’re an awesome worker because you’re so energized throughout the day.

3. By the time the work day is over, you’re feeling a little sleepy, but you’ll survive.

4. Everyone tries to make plans with you to go out at night and you agree, but then instantly regret it because they’re not even leaving to go out until 11pm.

5. By 10:00, you probably look like this:

6. You try to stay up just a little longer by watching TV, but even that does nothing for you.

7. Before you know it, you’re sound asleep before the clock even hits 11pm every night (even on weekends).

8. You repeat this same cycle every single day. Some may consider it a blessing, but you may see it as a curse.

If You’re a Night Owl…

1. You have the hardest time waking up in the morning. Nothing can get you out of bed. Nothing.

2. Once you actually get out of bed, you need to have caffeine to survive the 8 hour workday.

3. You’re probably always late for work because it takes you FOR-EV-ER to get out of bed.

4. You do pretty averagely at work. And that’s good for you considering you’re still hardly even awake.

5. But by the time the work day is over, you’re completely full of energy and ready to take on the night life!

6. But now it’s somehow already 3am and you’re not feeling anywhere close to being tired.

8. Somehow, throughout the process of constantly wishing for sleep, you eventually doze off only to be awoken by your alarm a couple of hours later. And the same cycle repeats all over again.
